There are different kinds of waiting. One kind of waiting is when you're really looking forward to whatever it is you're waiting for. When was the last time you felt that kind of "I can't wait!" excitement? Why were you so excited?
Quite often the things we're excited about and the things that bring us joy help us to better understand the person God made us to be. The excitements of our life are also gifts from God and ways of directly experiencing God.
Can you visualise God smiling at seeing you so excited? Can you see the things you get excited about as gifts from God? What do the things you "can't wait for" show you about the person God made you to be?
