About me

My name is Sr Lizzie. I'm in my mid 30s. I'm a Novice with an Anglican religious community in the UK. Over the past 16 or so years I've felt God increasingly drawing me into the depths and riches of 'catholic' spirituality, silence and other spiritual disciplines, and contemplative prayer.

I'm passionate about sharing this kind of spirituality in a way that people can find accessible and in ways that they can try out for themselves and make a part of their own lives. I think a lot of younger adults are searching for this kind of depth of living and not realising it can be found in Jesus and in Christian spiritual tradition.

In this blog I am simply sharing the fruits of my last 16+ years. Some of this is coming from years of spiritual reading and much of it is from my own experiences of what I've found helpful or enriching in my own life. In today's busy, fast paced, word based, productivity based and digital world, I hope you enjoy joining me in exploring and experimenting with a life that is more spiritual, physical, wholistic, sacramental, mindful and contemplative.
